Objective: Provide a space of dialogue for civil society organizations of the region on the implementation, follow-up and review of the 2030 Agenda.
 

PRELIMINARY PROGRAMME

9.00-9.15 a.m.    Opening session

09.15-9.40 a.m.    Explanation of the work methodology of the third civil society consultation.
The Transitional Commission will brief participants on the main aspects of prior consultations, and on the process carried out to establish the Mechanism for civil society participation in the Forum of the Countries of Latin America and the Caribbean on Sustainable Development. The work methodology for the rest of the day will be explained.

09.40-10.10 a.m.    Information session on the third meeting of the Forum of the LAC Countries on Sustainable Development.
The representative of ECLAC will brief participants on the Third meeting of the Forum. Questions from participants.

10.10-10.45 a.m.    Dialogue of the civil society.
Participants will discuss aspects of their engagement in the Forum and in the regional dimension of the 2030 Agenda.

Agencies, funds and programmes of the United Nations will present their proposals and initiatives to the civil society of the region. Questions from participants.
