Biography
Fernando Quevedo, is the General Manager of the Country Department for Central America, Haiti, Mexico, Panama and the Dominican Republic (CID) since April 2021. He also serves as the Bank´s Country Representative in Costa Rica.
He joined the Bank in 1991 as an economist and has held different positions during his career, including Senior Project Economist for Costa Rica, Honduras and Nicaragua, Senior Economist in the previous Integration and Regional Programs Department and in the Country Division of the former Regional Operations Department 2, and Country Representative in Costa Rica, Guatemala, as well as in Ecuador since 2017.
