Forum of the Countries of Latin America and the Caribbean on Sustainable Development 2022

Piedad Martín has a degree in Environmental Sciences and is a specialist in development economics and measurement of sustainable development. She completed these studies in Madrid, Manchester and Boston. Currently, she holds the position of Deputy Regional Director of the UNEP Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean, supporting the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the mainstreaming of environmental sustainability in national policies and programming of the United Nations system.
