Biography
Carlos Applewhaite is a development professional from Jamaica who serves as a Development Analyst at the Planning Institute of Jamaica (PIOJ), working within the SDG Secretariat. In this role, he contributes to national planning and monitoring of sustainable development policies, including Jamaica’s implementation of the 2030 Agenda.
He has been involved in international processes related to sustainable development, including participation in United Nations platforms such as the High-level Political Forum (HLPF), supporting Jamaica’s reporting and engagement on the Sustainable Development Goals
