Brigitte Baptiste is Rector of the EAN University of Colombia since 2019, after serving for 10 years as General Director of the Alexander Von Humboldt Biological Resources Research Institute. She is a biologist from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, with a Master's degree in Conservation and Tropical Development from the University of Florida.
