Biography

Bachelor of Education with specialization in Elementary Education. Secondary Education teacher. Bachelor of Humanities with specialization in English. She completed a Master's Degree in Labor Law and a Postgraduate Degree in Higher Education.
He incorporates to his formal studies courses, seminars and diplomas on topics such as
Child Labor, Mediation and Social Dialogue, Gender and Youth Issues, Diaspora Studies,
Human Rights courses at the United Nations and Project Evaluation in Turin among
others generated by ILO and academic spaces promoted by the CSI, CSA, Instituto
Panamanian of Labor Studies, etc. This training has allowed her to provide advice to the union representation in the National Minimum Wage Commission, the Network of Working Women of Panama, Collective Negotiation tables, she was a facilitator in the Union Compass Project and agents of change developed by the FES in Panama, in addition to participating in the FESMINISMOS project with a view to working in alliance with feminist groups to strengthen the work of working women.

Union leader of the trade sector and teacher. She is Deputy General Secretary of the Convergence Union Confederation of Panama, where she is politically responsible for the lines of education, gender and youth.

Responsible for the education secretariat in the base union SITIMACA. She works as Executive Technical Director in the National Council of Organized Workers of Panama (CONATO) and is a member of the Trade Union Education Commission, she participates in the Labor Foundation on behalf of CS.
Her union development has allowed her to participate in the Meetings of the International Conference of the ILO in representation of the working sector of Panama, as a delegate in the old ORIT with the creation of the Youth Commission. Also as a delegate to the CSI and the CSA representing the
Union Confederation.
