Primary objective
- Provide an inclusive platform for official and direct participation of children and youth from the region within the framework of the VII Forum of the Countries of Latin American and Caribbean on Sustainable Development and the ECOSOC Youth Forum. By doing so, the voices of children and youth from the region can be effectively represented in these esteemed gatherings, aligning with the prioritized SDGs for the High-Level Political Forum (HLPF) 2024.
- Aims to enable more children and youth to articulate, propose, and institutionalize their actions, projects, and initiatives as meaningful contributions towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. This endeavor is in line with the mandate of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and echoes the Rio+20 Declaration, which emphasizes the necessity of creating avenues for youth participation.
