Biografía
Miss Joy-Marie King is an International Trade diplomat and multilateral negotiator serving with distinguised representation on behalf of Antigua and Barbuda within regional and international trade spheres.
She is the nation’s Director of International Trade within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with special responsibilities including the implementation of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Ms. King served as the technical lead for the twin-island state’s 1st VNR presentation in 2021. She also serves as Antigua and Barbuda’s delegate to the World Trade Organisation and is a member of the nation’s WTO Negotiation Team regarding the trade dispute with the United States “Measures Relating to the Cross-Border Supply of Gaming and Betting Services.”
Joy-Marie is a graduate with honors from the University of the West Indies with a Master of Science Degree in International Trade Policy and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science with Psychology respectively.
Miss King previously served as an Economist at the Bank of Jamaica.
