Biografía
Kennethia Douglas is the Project Manager in the Technical Cooperation Unit in the Ministry of Planning and Development coordinating and managing the work of the Sustainable Development Goals and Small Island Developing States portfolios.
With eight years of professional experience in Development Cooperation, she has led a team to the successful presentation of Trinidad and Tobago’s first Voluntary National Review in 2020, spearheaded the national reporting process on the implementation of the SAMOA Pathway and continues to contribute to the discussions on the 2030 Agenda and new programme of action for SIDS.
Ms Douglas has an MSc degree in Project Management and Evaluation from UWI and is a certified Green Project Manager and a Registered Consultant and Assessor with Green Project Management (GPM) Global.
In addition to her professional work, Ms Douglas is dedicated to entrepreneurial endeavours and other personal projects.
She has a keen interest in SDG 17—partnerships for goals, and believes that regional challenges require regional solutions. In her words: “When we collaborate across borders and sectors, we create the enabling environment for sustainability, prosperity peace”.
