Biografía
Shennel Richards is the Chief Research Officer in the Prime Minister’s Office in Barbados. In this role she has responsibility for the Sustainable Development Goals Unit and ensuring that the Unit fulfills its mandate to monitor and guide the implementation of the SDGs in Barbados. Ms. Richards is also CARICOM Single Market and Economy (CSME) focal point for Barbados working with national and regional stakeholders to ensure Barbados’ compliance with its obligations under the Revised Treaty of Chaguaramas. She brings to her roles a wealth of knowledge as an advisor to the government on policy formulation and implementation having worked at various levels in the Ministries responsible for energy policy and foreign trade policy
