Biography
Senior official at the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). He has led Directorate-General 4, overseeing multilateral development policy, transformation, and climate initiatives. Prior to this role, from December 2021 to August 2023, Meyer headed Directorate-General 1, focusing on global health, employment, economic transformation, digital technologies, and food and nutrition security.
