Biography
She joined the Ministry of Agriculture in March 2023. Previously, she served as the Executive Director of the Latin American Center for Rural Development (RIMISP) after being its lead researcher. Fernández has also been an advisor to the Budget Directorate of the Ministry of Finance and the Head of the Division of Policies and Studies at the Deputy Ministry of Regional and Administrative Development, as well as a member of the Presidential Advisory Commission for Decentralization and Development, among other roles.
