Biography
President of the Committee of Women Workers of the Americas of the Confederation of Workers of the Americas (CMTA-CSA). Professor of Political Philosophy at the National University of La Plata (UNLP) in Argentina, she is Director of the Institute of Studies and Training (IEC), National Secretary of Gender and Diversity of CTA de los Trabajadores and Secretary of International Relations of the National Federation of University Teachers (CONADU). Her academic and union career is oriented to the strengthening of public education and the defense of the labor rights of university teachers.
She has led research and training programs that promote women's participation in the union and academic spheres. Her work advocates for gender equality and the democratization of higher education in Latin America, promoting policies that strengthen the inclusion and representation of women in decision-making spaces and in the development of public education.
