Biography
- Originally from the city of Navarro, province of Buenos Aires.
- Bachelor of Economics, graduated from the Universidad Argentina de la Empresa.
- Master in Administration and Public Policies from the University of San Andrés.
EXPERIENCE
Mayor of the City of Navarro, re-elected for three consecutive terms of government from December 2011 to November 2022, at which time he began to use a license for a higher-ranking position. Prior to his first term, he was a councilor there between 2007 and 2011, he has held the presidency of the Navarro Justicialista Party since 2008, and he has served as Congressman of the National Justicialista Party since 2011. He also held positions in the Provincial Justicialista Party from Buenos Aires.
In the public sector, he worked as Credit Risk Manager of the ANSES Sustainability Guarantee Fund, during the years 2009, 2010 and 2011; and he held different hierarchical positions at Banco de la Provincia de Buenos Aires between 1998 and 2009.
In November 2020, he assumed as Habitat Secretary of the Ministry of Territorial Development and Habitat, having represented the National Government as Vice Minister at the 11th World Urban Forum (WUF11), held in Poland from June 26 to 30, 2022; and having attended the High Level Meeting of the United Nations General Assembly on the Implementation of the New Urban Agenda in New York, United States, from April 26 to 29, 2022.
Since November 2022, he has held the position of Minister of Territorial Development and Habitat as part of the National Cabinet; and in December of the same year he was elected to preside over the Forum of Ministers and Highest Authorities of Housing and Urban Planning of Latin America and the Caribbean (MINURVI).
