Biografía
Ms. Kennethia Douglas is the Senior Programme Manager for Sustainable Development in the Ministry of Planning and Development in Trinidad and Tobago. Her background is rooted in international development cooperation and the sustainable development agenda, with a commitment to advancing SIDS issues. Her professional experience, spanning 10 years, has been rich with opportunities to engage in various intergovernmental processes, particularly within the UN system. Ms. Douglas’ work across multiple intergovernmental processes includes contributions to diverse international legal frameworks and global cooperation initiatives and as a lead discussant on panels in seminars, workshops, conferences, roundtables, forums and meetings. Her knowledge and experience are invaluable. Ms Douglas advocates for SDG 17—partnerships for goals, and believes that regional challenges require regional solutions. In her words: “When we collaborate across borders and sectors, we create the enabling environment for sustainability, prosperity peace”.
