Biography
Claudio Orrego Larraín is a lawyer with a distinguished career in public service. Prior to assuming office as Metropolitan Regional Governor in 2021—currently serving his second term through 2028—he served as Mayor of Peñalolén for two consecutive terms (2004–2012) and as Intendant of the Metropolitan Region of Santiago from 2014 to 2018.
