Biography
Gabriel Ugarte, industrial civil engineer and holder of a Master of Engineering Sciences from the Universidad Católica de Chile and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Chicago, is recognized for his leadership in the analysis and evaluation of social policies. He has stood out for his work in the design and refinement of social measurement tools and, until February 2026, was a member of the expert panel for the CASEN Survey, contributing to the technical validation of instruments used to evaluate the socioeconomic situation of the country.
