Biography
Joy-Marie King graduated with honors from the University of the West Indies, earning a Master of Science Degree in International Trade Policy and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science with Psychology. Her extensive experience and expertise in trade policy, negotiation, and sustainable development position her as a leading voice on critical global issues. Her work exemplifies the vital role of small island States in shaping international trade and development agendas.
Prior to her current position as Director of International Trade within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade & Immigration, she was
Technical lead for Antigua and Barbuda’s first Voluntary National Review (VNR) presentation in 2021.
