Organization of Side Events

In the framework of the Forum, side events will be held in an in-person format between 13 and 16 April and may have a maximum duration of 90 minutes at times that do not overlap with the plenary sessions.

Those interested in submitting proposals for side events must complete the attached form and send the requested information to the Office of the Secretary of the Commission by email to: eventosparalelosforoalc2030@cepal.org;

The Secretary of the Commission will receive expressions of interest until 3 p.m. (Chile time) on 6 March. No new proposals will be accepted after this deadline.

In the selection process, priority will be given to proposals related to the SDGs under review during the 2026 cycle (SDG 6, SDG 7, SDG 9, SDG 11 and SDG 17), and that are jointly organized by multiple stakeholders, whether from the United Nations system and/or other relevant actors.

The selection and approval of the proposals, together with the allocation of the respective rooms and time slots, will be communicated on 13 March.
